Our range of linen is sourced predominantly from France. We are very selective about the linen range we carry and each linen item is carefully considered, and tested for softness, durability, and quality before it comes into our store. Our suppliers use the finest quality flax found in France and Europe. Linen is easy to take care of, it resists dirt and stains, has no lint or pilling tendency, and can be dry-cleaned, machine-washed or steamed, withstanding high temperatures.
Our linen is washed and pre-shrunk then tumble-dried in a special machine to give it the ‘stonewashed’ effect. Pre-washing also enables the linen to not only maintain its durability, but to become softer the more it is washed and used. Linen is valued for its coolness and freshness in summer, and warmth in winter. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-allergic components – perfect for all the family.
When You Purchase Our Linen, You Are Buying A Quality Product That Will Last The Test Of Time.
For Best Results:
Warm gentle machine up to 40 degrees.
Use gentle washing powder eg: Lux, Savon de Marseille soap flakes or a non abrasive washing detergent like Wool Wash is ideal.
Do not use harsh bleaching agents.
Tumble dry on low cycle - this process softens the fibre and keeps linen looking and feeling its best.
Can be line dried - keep away from direct sunlight - especially dark colours.
Like all natural fibre textiles, all stains should be washed as soon as possible.
Our linen is selected for its relaxed look and feel and doesn't need to be ironed, however if you prefer to iron your linen, it is best to iron when linen is slightly damp.
