The Portrait of Adele Block-Bauer I (also called The lady in Gold or The Woman in Gold) is a painting by Gustav Klimt and was completed between 1903 and 1907. The portrait was commissioned by her husband and became famous due to large courtcase to reunite it to its owners after it was allegedly stolen. The painting itself was eventually sold by the family for $135 million.
