How to Care for your Candles

Candles create a memory ring when they are burnt, with a few simple steps this memory ring will create an even burn every time you enjoy the beautiful candles around your home.

• Before first lighting, trim the wick to approximately 6mm in length. This will reduce the amount of soot produced, tarnishing your beautiful candle vessel.
• Burn your candle for a minimum of 1 hour at a time. The entire surface of the candle should become liquid.
• Candles should never be burned for longer than 3 hours at a time. For best results and to stop wax possibly spilling, use a candle snuffer instead of blowing out the candle.
• Remember to trim your wick each time you light your candle. For best results, use a wick trimmer.
• Always discontinue use of a candle when there is 2cm of wax at the bottom of the vessel. This prevents possible heat damage.
